  • 名詞句の最後の要素として用いられる傾向がある[2]。J・M・ハスウェルの語彙集では接辞として扱われている[7]が、マシュー・S・ドライヤーによる「屈折形態論における接頭辞と接尾辞の対立」というテーマによる950を超える言語を対象とした調査ではクリスティアン・ハルトムート・リヒャルト・バウアーによる『口語モン語の形態論と統語論』[9]の随所を根拠に、モン語は接辞の働きがほとんど見られない言語とされている[10]
