စ (ca)〈食べる〉に名詞化の接中辞 -w- がついたもの[1]。Diffloth (1984:263ff) による ドヴァーラヴァティ (wp)時代のモン語の再構形 *caaʔ〈食べる〉: *cwaaʔ〈肉〉も参照[2][3]。
