- (色) 藍で染めた色。濃い青。虹の七色のうち青と紫の間の色とされる。これはアイザック・ニュートンが決めたものだが、本来、ニュートンが blue と indigo と呼んだ色は、現代ではシアンと青に当たる[1]。
