[編集]- (木, カンラン科) カンラン科コンミフォラ属の植物 (Commiphora)[2]、特に高木 (wp)のコンミフォラ・エミニーの亜種 (C. eminii subsp. zimmermannii[1]、シノニム: C. missionis, C. zimmermannii[3])。キクユ人 (wp)からは伝統的に生け垣として、またヤムイモ (wp)を育てる際の支えとなる木として用いられてきた[1][2][3]。また、コンミフォラ・エミニーはニェリ県において樹皮、幹、根の煎じ汁が歯磨きのため、また蛇による咬傷に対して用いられるとの報告がある[4]。
