  1. コミカンソウ科（旧トウダイグサ科）マルヤマカンコノキ属（別名: カンコモドキ属）の樹木、Bridelia micrantha[2][3]。その木材は伝統的に建材として扱われてきた[2][3]。また、近年は中央州で腸内寄生虫[4]やエイズ[1]に対して樹皮の煎じ薬を用いるとの報告がある。
